My bathroom. It's a new toilet but an old bath. Everything (except toilet) drains into bathtub, so when the drains get clogged it is really disgusting.

My bathroom. It's a new toilet but an old bath. Everything (except toilet) drains into bathtub, so when the drains get clogged it is really disgusting.

Keep large amounts of Caustic Soda/ Lye handy, and blitz that MF whenever it starts to complain. That worked for the 100 year old plumbing in my student house in the Midlands.

I hear that. When it clogged for the first time, I ended up getting that stuff on my hand and got a chemical burn. I have never in my life had something like that happen before and I barely ever use gloves when I clean. Learned my lesson.
If you are the kind of person who spills stuff easily, get both gloves and goggles for the caustic soda.
